I just bought a Jeep Compass and I have to say it is a pretty neat vehicle. But I'm not sure if it's reliable.

If you want a compass I don't know anything about it but I can tell you that Jeeps will run for a hell of a long time. They have strong bodies (especially the CJs and Wranglers) and are very easy to maintain.

Jeeps are pretty reliable at least the ones with inline 6 engines are. My 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee has 190,000 miles on it and runs just as strong as the day I bought it. Do all maintenance and repairs as soon as they are needed and you will have a vehicle that will give you many miles with no problems. As for the compass this is its first year so if your interested in it, I would personally wait until next year to get one. Wait for the bugs and kinks to get worked out of them first.

I don't know about the Compass, but I have a Jeep Liberty and I love it. It's a 2004 and I haven't had any problems with it. I would call it reliable.

The engine is very good, and the build quality is better than ever. The technology is shared with Dodge Caliber, and they are proving very reliable, with hardly any early production issues. You should be happy with your car, as they are different and functional
