something that looks like a ball and have a strand of hair fall out.. soon after that, there is a small hole ... will the small hole heal over time or will it have a scar for the rest of my life?thx

Sounds like a in grown hair. I had one, the best thing is vitamin E cream.. it really helps the healing process. Also There's a anti biotic for the skin.. will clear up any puss or infection.

sounds like an ingrown hair. Anyway start now putting neosporin on it and the scar wont look as bad as it heals.

You probably had an ingrown hair follicle... not a pimple. If you leave it alone and dont pick at it, it should heal over without any problem.
