No, I hope you didn't give it to them. If you give out your pin they can take all your money and get your information. maybe that was a boleg online purchase because they won't ask for your pin they will only ask for your card number on the front of your card. They will also ask how are you purchasing it debit, cash but not ask for your pin. Don't purchase whatever you was going to get.

ABSO-FRIGGIN-LUTELY NOT! Sorry to yell atcha but as a former employee of a bank I know for a fact that this is never acceptable.
By doing this, here are what you can expect:
If any fraud happens as a result of you giving out your P.I.N. number the bank is no longer liable in the event of fraud. Meaning if this company drains your bank account you are just out of luck.
It is just like if you give an ex-girlfriend/boyfriend your P.I.N. number and they go and withdrawal all of your funds the bank will not do anything for you.
My advice to you is to call your bank if you have already done this and have them cancel the card and issue a new one. Or they may even be able to just change the P.I.N. number over the phone (If they do change banks... that is highly unsafe) In most cases you will have to visit your local bank to change it, but that is the best course of action. If you can't just change your pin number then I would suggest cancelling the whole card.
Best of luck on that!

No. Never give out your pin number on line. This site is not legit. If you did call the bank and have the card hot listed/carded.
For future use.
Merchants can ask for CSC which is on the back of most cards.

No it is not safe to give any sort of information dealing with debit or credit cards because someone could easily get and use your card without your permission.

I hope you didn't give your pin number out. No one but you should know that number. If you did give it out don't panic!! Contact your bank and they will help you with the steps that needs to be made.
If you did give the number out don't beat yourself up about it!! We don't come into this world knowing everything. It takes time to learn all this!

PIN = Personal Identification Number, it's belong to you and shouldn't give it to anyone at any circumstances.
