Lt. Ehren Watada has refused to deploy to Iraq, on the grounds that the war was illegal, since the original excuse of WMD's was falsified to start the war in Iraq. He is being court marshaled. is there a site that one can send letters of support for him?

He's a coward!!! You want to support a coward? The war is not illegal. He swore an oath upon taking his commission. If he only wanted to PLAY soldier and not actually BE a soldier, he should have bought a G.I. Joe doll and had his fantasies at home and not waste people's time.

Hope he get's at least 20 years. WW2 they would have executed him.

OnHeadPhones, been there and done that. Have you?

militia workers take an oath and people who do no longer honor that oath would desire to be held responsible. i do no longer help this person or any others who use their very own "opinion" as an excuse to no longer visit conflict incredibly in easy of the sacrifices the different honorable militia persons and their households have made. it incredibly is an act of cowardice ordinary and easy. i'm a veteran of the desolate tract hurricane and that i'd visit combat in this conflict with out hesitation to stand by skill of my brothers and sisters in conflict.

Well, i have been to iraq and back again, and i am calling him a pussy. I didn't want to go, but you know what? It is my job, and my duty so i went. The punishment for this conduct could be death, personally, i feel he should be given that penalty. What makes him better than the rest of us who serve honorably?

You can send him condoms while he's in prison so that the Gunny SGT he's sharing a cell with won't get AIDS.
