Not every MAC can run windows, and the ones that do, don't work out too well for the casual user. My advice would be to stick with MAC, or buy a PC if you want windows.

Non-intel based Macs can run windows emulators such as Virtual PC on top of the Mac OS, though the results aren't great, especially if you don't have a pretty powerful machine.

http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/ is likely what you're looking for but you'll have to be running one of the Intel-based Macs for it to work.
