I am always amazed at how hung up people get on age differences. Because your 15 or 20 years older, so what. What should be important is do you enjoy being around each other, is there chemistry, Age is an asset if you are young at heart. What anyone else thinks doesn't mean a thing. Period.

Of course - it is OK for a grown woman to go after a younger grown man. But of course who are we kidding here - you aren't going after this young hot hunk for anything "seemly". So forget about being seemly or appearing unseemly. Just go for it and enjoy. You are old enough to know what you want and I know a forty year old woman knows how to make a young 24 year old man get all hot and bothered - So again go for it and write back and let us all know how wonderful it becomes!! Good luck!!

Before flirting with the guy, you should find out if he likes you or not. Show him some cleavage. And if his eyes keep wandering back to you again and again, then you can be sure that he likes you. And in that case, suggest to him maybe the two of you can go for coffee some time and give him your phone number.
Make it easy for him to get to know you better, and his hormones will do the rest. He'll probably call you within a few days.
But don't be surprised if he'll want to get a better look at that cleavage of yours. A young man in a romantic situaton with an older woman has only one thing on his mind: sex, sex, and more sex.

Of course not and do what makes you happy. Life is fleeting. It might not go the way you planned but nothing will happen if nothing is attempted. Simple banter and a smile can go far add a compliment and your off and running. If no desired response is given at least you got the excitement and thrill of the moment.

Joe C you need to watch yourself.
Its far from sick. Age is only a mindset. Its sick to flirt with married people but age should not matter. Especially when its between 2 adults. 40 and 24? nothing to worry or be ashamed about

It's sick. Women like this are mainly interested in the flattery from someone young. They need to seek a psychiatrist, preferably one skilled in Electroshock Therapy, or Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation.
Don't listen to many of the people on this board who say it's normal. Most are liberals, and liberals don't see anything wrong with anything. They're not even really qualified to answer and also need to be getting professional help for their own condition, rather than rendering advice.

If you are available and your flirting leads to having sex with this young man then that is reasonable and the age gap should not be an issue.
If however, you flirt with no intention of having sex with him and this leads him on to expect something which you will not give then that is cruel and selfish, it is called prick teasing.

Just natural human nature nothing wrong here. Those who see it as wrong somehow should get out more and see how the world works. Go work in a hotel if you want to learn more about psychology, you will learn volumes.
