Wisdom can keep you safe from harm and make you happy.
Ignorance can isolate you from others and make you miserable
Culture helps you find your fit with other like-minded people
Consolation brings you back from the brink of disappointment and places you back into mainstream life ...

without wisdom, you would not be able to count all the things in life that money can't buy, being ignorant causes you to miss the great opportunities that life offers you because you do not understand them, without heritage there is no culture because no one would remember their culture if they didn't have a heritage

you can look at those words as a bunch of BS or something someone spiritual would say...
- we all know that money and not wisdom rules the world
what you don't know can't hurt you
heritage is just a part of your history
and sometimes it is just best to leave a person alone
- those are all wise words, but also completely useless in life

Not all cultures are good. Latin america has a supposed "rich" culture (whatever the hell that means), but from Mexico all the way to the tip of Argentina and Chile, there is nothing but abject poverty and corruption. Same with the "black" culture here, and throughout Africa.
If one's culture does not cherish and nurture wisdom, it's not such a great heritage. So I partially agree with your statement.

I don't know why, but it just seems like the right thing.
Seek ye first the kingdom of God/Allah/etc.
It all makes sense somehow if we try to find your way back to our own soul.
