If a guy likes u, he will give u a lot of importance than others. He will flirt with u, would like 2 share his feelings wid u.

i will give her hints but in the oddest way...
like i like your hair, do you do it in a zoo?
some times i do some flirting and jokes. so she wouldnt notice it
there is nothing wrong with asking but its awkward to the guy.
if you want to know really... then ask him. but i strongly suggest that you give him signs of interest and see waht is his reactions.
like when you go out... sometimes a guy likes to put his hands to your shoulder. get the hand and put it in your hips.
or when he calls you tell him how you liked his things.
there are endless ways on how to do it. its the process thats hard.

he faces you directly, not away from you
his eyes are bright when he looks at you
he makes direct eye contact with you
he smiles at you
he stares at you if he can
he finds ways to be where you will be ......
he pays attention to details in your life
he trys to make you laugh
in the beginning, if he is not very sophisticated, he will also kinda act like a dope sometimes ... because he is trying to get your attention and approval and also trying to draw out your interest

he'll talk to you alot, usually ask you what your doing that weekend and probably ask for your number. When i like a girl i usually compliment them and what not
