You'll be fine. I'd suggest that you stay "off the market" for a little while to give yourself a chance to rediscover yourself. It is a trip worth taking. I think trying for another relationship right away would be a mistake. Check out the area for clubs, churches, gyms or whatever there is for just meeting people and making friends. The rest will happen when it's right. Good Luck :)

Well you can either get laid with every woman who comes your way......OR.......you can put yourself out there for dating again and take it very slow. Be open to all and date several women. You will find that this develops your level of discernment and you will discover what you want and don't want in a woman and in a relationship. Perhaps the best advice from me would be to work thru all your issues as best you can....a support group is good for this.....as long as you attend it and do the work necessary so that you don't drag it into a future relationship. Next, hone in on... and develop further.... your own interests. Cultivate the friendships you have and or make new ones. This is a time for SELF care. Try something new.......what have you always wanted to do but haven't?

viagra! ha ha, I'mjust kidding. You will be fine. I would suggest going to the gym, or furthering your education, there you will meet some ladies who have common interests. You could also talk to some other men who are in the same boat as you. I'm sure with today's divorce rates, you'll find someone who could heed some reliable advice. Good Luck! I'm only 18 so this isn't flirting or anything. Jump in! Do it with confidence and be yourself. You never know, you might find someone really fast that is so releived at finding someone true and is ready to get back into the game. Have fun with it, don't rush the process just like life, too short to waiste wouldn't you say! Go you, I'm rooting for you to have a good nother go-round at dating!

Well first off, u should try dating woman around ur own age! cause at 50 most guys like younger women, who u could only be a sugar daddy! are a Pay Master! so u should look for woman on singer and dating.com or go to a BINGO CLUB!! oh and stop trying to look and be young cause u are not!! well men that are 50 are not died yet matter of fact they are just getting were they care for others and are fun to be with . i am assuming that the but soon means you are about to start dating again looking for a woman to spend time w/ first of all be you r self and act your age dont go out looking for 30 yr olds it make s mature men look despesit to be young find you a nice mature woman who has the same intrest as you and just treat her like a lady !and all will b fine good luck and remember you dont have to look and act as though you are dying tomorrow but dont try to b something you arent (30 something) god bless

who is turning 50? How about a 'spa day'. Have your 'look' redone. Bet you are wearing your hair like you did in high school. Go for a new cut, some highlights (not too over the top), get a facial, massage, etc. Go metrosexual man!!!

Just be yourself. Take pride in how you look, clean shaven, hair cut, that sort of stuff. Be kind, be a gentleman and if you smoke, give it up. We don't like the smell of cigarettes on men! :-)
