my skin is fair, so basically the only area that i usually break out is on my forehead and the the ending tip of my eyebrows..next to my eyes..below that im fine.

i use clearisil on my forehead but i noticed that everytime my forehead gets dry and itchy and i hate how that happens..when i stop using it and i start to exfoliate my skin i start to break out again..it seems as if.if i keep it dry i wont break out..

is there any other acne treatments by Neutrogena that doesnt have a lot of benzyol peroxide but enough to fight the acne and keep it moisturized?

I tried tons of over-the-counter products, and nothing really worked. I ended up getting a prescription from my doctor and I've had clear skin ever since. I use two: -Duac -Differen Duac is a simple Benzoyl Peroxide cream which is used to actually kill the bacteria and prevent it from coming back. Differen is a gel which is used to bring pimples to the surface of the skin, thus making it easier for the Duac to kill the bacteria. I use the Differin every night before bed, and the Duac every morning under my make up. Some health insurance companies consider acne medications to me "cosmetic" and don't cover the cost. Without health insurance, Duac can run somewhere over $100, and the Differin more. But with health insurance that covers it, it's about $20 each. I use Neutrogena Facial Cleanser for my face wash. It has a PH balance so it's very easy on the skin. I trust Neutrogena for most of my skin products. Moisturizer, liquid foundation, lotion, ect. It's a good quality brand that doesn't mess with your skin. The Duac and Differin make your skin very sensitive. High altitude dries my skin out easily, as well as sun exposure and wind. So very light and good quality make ups and lotions should be used. The two products work wonders and I swear by them.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Have you tried Benzoyl Peroxide to get rid of your acne?

Many people who have actually had difficulty with acne have gotten great arise from using benzoyl peroxide. Although prescribed variations are offered (mostly for cleansers or creams), the majority of items with benzoyl peroxide can be acquired nonprescription.

There are a variety of items available, but the majority of involve a cream or gel that is put on broken-out portions of the face. Benzoyl peroxide kills the P. acnes bacteria that causes inflammation in an obstructed pore. It may take about 3 weeks for results to happen, so be patient.

After I've taken a shower I can feel that itch you're talking about. I got my first zit when I was around 8 years old so I know what you're talking about. Anyway, if I use face lotion afterwards I the itching stops for me and my skin isn' all too dry anymore. In the evenings I wash my face with tar soap and then I use face lotion.

i have a few break outs there too! Ive searched for years for a good product -used everything clearasil---u name it. But i found the best one for me was....tea tree oil. It is a natural anti-septic which kills the bacteria on your skin-clearing up your pimples very nicely and quickly! The best thing is that it doesnt dry out the skin -seeing its an oil and all. i found that a higher concentration like 100% tea tree oil gives better results. Tea tree oil is sooooooo useful-it works well on your skin and can cure many skin disorders like athletes foots (its also anti-fungal) and heals insect bits/sunbrun/verucas. Its mighty useful. I also found that a tea tree oil based face wash from the body shop works well on acne. Tea tree oil can be readily found from the supermarket, (check the concentration) chemist ...anywhere and its inexpensive.

I used Neutrenegna's blockhead eliminating scrub,,,
It is not drying my skin, and it works very good...
Also try this: after washing your face put very little Aveno Positively Radiant Moisturizing lotion, this cream is not heavy and not oily,,, it will keep your skin even toned and soft,,,, and most definitely without break outs.....
good luck
