I have always like this guy (crush) near my work place for more than 2 yrs and he definately likes me too but we never got to get together because we are both extremely shy.....I know it sounds ridiculous but it's easier said than done so all we did during this time is exchange our looks and smiles. I often caught him staring at me and smtimes I stared back until we would both laughed and smile. However, recently a guy, Max asked me out and I dated him like 3x. But I can stop thinking about crush. I do like Max but not as much as I like 'crush'. I feel guilty going out with Max. I feel that my feelings had grown for crush these past 2 years even though we never actually talked! Sounds crazy but that's exactly what I feel! I saw him this morning and immediately I felt a warm feelin that I've never felt before. I've get butterflies in my stomach constantly just thinking of him. I'm really shy and I can't help it. I really want to approach him but my legs go numb! ADVICE PLEASE

If you and Max are not exclusive, having options really makes things clear. So try communicating with your crush!
You two must have mutual coworker friends. Try to arrange something very casual, like lunch or coffee break. As you guys are walking out the door, have your friend ask if he wants go.
Don't be so nervous! I know it's hard, but remember he's probably just are nervous are you are (if not more!). If you can't talk to him directly, consider having your friend make small talk with him and gradually get you into the conversation.
If he still doesn't make a move, then it's his loss! You can't be doing all the chasing, right?

You should try going out on a date with your crush. then you can see how his personality is you dont wanna totaly ditch max. Because your love of the crush is most likely based on phisical apperances this 'crush' might not live up to what you expect.

well if u have dated max 3 times and it hasn't worked, u need to try things with ur crush, u need to make a move before someone else does. if u know this guy likes u, and he knows u like him, u have nothing to hide, and u need to talk about it.

a plan that i've used a couple of times in yr situation is make a list of all the things WRONG with them
think critically
then see which one would be worst for you
example:
max
1. he doesn't like yr parents
2. that cowlick is SO annoying
3. sometimes he ses i'll call later and doesn't

When the right guy comes along, you'll know. One of the clues is this: You will ONLY think of him! If you like two guys at once (really like!), then you shouldn't be with either, really. It causes problems for you, and perhaps neither is best for you if you can't give your heart to just one.
