Does anybody know of a website i could go to to find out about some things that happened in my community? There have been a few things that happened that i would like to find out more information about. for instance.....a little boy was attacked by a pitbull, and i would like to find out if hes ok. Is there a police website that has things like this on it that would tell the outcome? I live in ohio.

most things are open records if there is not an ongoing investigation, you could check with the records dept at the local pd. some things are withheld from the public for a reason.
usacops.com is a webiste with links and addresses to every police and sheriffs dept in the country. if they dont have a website, then just the address is listed.
otherwise the media would probably be a better resource.

you can try checking the police blotter in your local paper...not sure if that stuff is online
