Try not to offend whoever it is but tell the person very politely that he or she i s beginnig to show an attitude that you do not like and you do not want to come between you both that should work.

Call the other's attention to the behavior and your interpretation of it. It could be intentional - might be a bad day...might even be a difference of how each of you views things. I can say something I think is just honest while my wife my view my candor as rude or too direct or too harsh. I can view her beating around the bush as dishonest. Both points of view may have merit.
If it becomes a pattern, then you're seeing a character flaw - and we all have those. Sometimes I say things that are rude or harsh... and some people don't get the point unless you (figuratively) swing a 2 by 4 at their head. So talk about it with him/her. You'll learn something no matter what direction it goes. Better to learn what you can now than be surprised if you do get married one day.

That would really depend on their ages, i have 3 natural children 2 and girls of 15 and 11 and a boy of 13 and 2 step sons 26 and 23 and they are all as bad as each other, they have not got better with age and the younger ones will try to copy what the older ones are doing, yet i have 2 friends one has 3 boys that are as good as gold another has 4 girls and they are also as good as gold but they are all aged 10 and under, what was your girls like when they was younger? i started to see and hear all the attitude from my lot from the ages of 12 and up and that's including my step sons.

Let them know it is not except able behavior. Sweetie, everybody has a bad day.He may even think what he is doing makes him look more admirable to you. Best thing to do is let him know you do not like this rude behavior.

you have to tell him what is going on in your head. (he can't read your mind) after you tell him how you feel give it sometime and he will probably change and if he doesn't you have to try to understand why he is behaving like that. and the next step is making a decision, do you stay with him or break up? how it ends is all up to you and him.

Perhaps he/her is facing some kind of a problem and they are not able to find solution, therefore in order to express their disappointment they turn it to their partner. Basically, both need to sit and talk in a diplomatic manner.

You need to make it very clear that you will not tolerate rude behavior. If it continues, end it.

Do what my ex did: she punched me out in front of my friends. Embarrassing as hell but it changed my attitude!
