People say that if you go around with pictures of hearts and daisies and long walks in your head, you just infatuate them, but if you care about them more than yourself and are willing to do anything for them, no matter how stupid or silly, that you are in love with them.
I think that you shouldn't have to choose between one or the other. Of course the willingness to do anything and the caring are most important, but the romance should be there also for that spark.
I don't see why the floweriness of it all can't go along with love.

I know for me when i first fell in love I literally saw images of hearts in my head and heard corny romance music like you would hear in a romantic movie and i did some pretty stupid and silly stuff too and it was wonderful. You can have both but just have to remember that just because you stop hearing the music or seeing the hearts and flowers doesn't mean your love is dead.

Hey Stud, love is whatever you want it to be. It's like the senator said about pornography...I can't define it but I know it when I see it. But love has many stages, beginning with that heavy breathing, hafta-be-together feeling, tapering to gee-I-like-to-be-with-her and finally to we-really-go-well-together. If you feel good about yourself first, you can feel good about another person. Accept yourself and you can accept her. Accept her without judgment, and yourself without judgment and this takes you a long way toward permanency.

Both are horrible strategy. You will seem too easy, to clingy. Women see easily attained love as of little value.

Here me now, believe me when you get dumped.
