I dont think so. I think your hair will grow regardless, but the speed of the growth depends on the health of your hair, your diet, and your stress level. The health of your hair particially depends on whats in your hair which is like split ends. To get a healthy trim maybe once a month or so is good. Hair grows about 1/2 inch a month on average.

No, cutting your hair will not make it grow any faster, any fuller anything. Split ends are nothing more than the dead "cuticle" of the hair and have nothing to do with hair growth. Actually once hair is about an inch from the scalp it is considered "dead" as that is not the part of the hair that actually grows, the part of the hair that grows is the part that is UNDER the scalp to about an inch from the scalp. If you want your hair to grow faster and you want it to look better (no matter what type of hair it is) you need a proper diet as well as keeping it clean and well maintained.

Try Ego Boost by BedHead. It smoothes, protects, and seals hair, mending split ends. You put it in the ends of your hair and it will also help stop your ends from splitting.

To stop having split ends, I do not use a comb. I use a pick - all of the time.

It helps, but your hair will grow regardless. As long as you're getting enough protein.
