I currently have my ears stretched to 0G (8.2 mm) and have decided that I don't want them anymore. Does anyone know of any tips or tricks to making them heal fast and making them heal so that there is minimal notice?

take out your jewelry and be patient. it may take a while but they should shrink up to a fairly small size. 0g isn't so huge that there's no hope of them returning to a small size. just don't try to wear any type of jewelry at this time. the weight of it will just encourage the holes to stay open. if you're not fully satisfied with the size of them, you can always look into a having them surgically fixed.

You'll need patience and time. Take out the jewelry now and you can wear a few sizes smaller if you choose to do so, but most people will get back to a 12-16g range after having holes at 0g. My 2g holes shrunk up to 14g after only 2.5 months of removing the jewelry.

I'm so happy to hear that you've decided not get rid of that horrible look. I believe you have to see a plastic surgeon to correct that. I don't think any skin stretched to that point ever bounces back without surgical help. Too bad people don't realize that that is a permanent mistake, in my book.

I was watching "Dr. 90210" where plastic surgeon, Dr. Robert Rey, M.D., M.P.P, uses surgery to correct the stretched ear lobes. So, your size doesn't sound as permanent. As for tricks to facilitate the healing, I have none, but you could try using bandaids that are the have the same tone as your skin.

If it's a small gage then its possible for them to shrink back... but if its a larger gage then you'd need plastic surgery to fix it. I too have mine stretched and yes I know its a permanent thing and i like them.
I things work out for you though

Jergens has this "tone and tighten" lotion that you can get at any grocery store, my friend Corey had his streched to 2 inches and it took a while but theyre ALMOST back to normal now, use the lotion 3-5 times a day and it should help.

Preperation H. Took my 2G down to the "normal" 18.

just leave them out, the chances of them shrinking totally is low. but they will eventually shrink down fairly small. just give it time.

Every time I see someone with those in I want to ask them if they really understand it is permanent!
No, no way to fix them without plastic surgery, but please spread the word on that!
