In August the my boyfriend was deported, we also have a child in common . Anyways I have kept in contact with him until November. The last time he called me was November 21. I wrote him a letter December 7. I changed my cell number December 15 due to some static from some old friends.I haven't heard anything. Should I call him and see if he is still alive?

Definately! You have a child with him and you obviously have feelings for him still if you are asking this question.

Of course. How else will you know unless you search and find out. You will always wonder. Usually you can not accept everything you hear, so try to be understanding. This is also not just about you, but about your child's father. He may want to still be in your lives. For the sake of your child (unless the man is abusive to you) give him a call. Let him know you'll miss him and hope he is doing well.

If he doesn't have your new cell number he can't call you. If he has the new number, he's chosen not to call you. Don't chase him. He didn't get deported for being a model person. You might have thought of that before you had a child with him.

You've left out a lot of information so it's kind of hard to answer. But, bottom line, is he good for your kids? If so, call him. If not, let him go.

Uhh, yeah. What is your child going to think when you don't know where his/her daddy went? Be prepared for him to be mad at you for changing your phone number and not giving him the new one.

No. The lack of communication proves that both of you clearly don't care about each other.

Kind of depends on why he was deported. Why was that?

Why would you NOT call him? I would have been calling him on Nov 23rd. :) Yes, call and settle your mind.
