For example, Jesus in his time, received quite a lot of...negative attention...seeing as ultimately he was crucified. If someone today memerised people and claimed that Revelations in the New Testament is to be fulfilled, by them, would you be able to accept him as salvation? Would you believe he really is a descendant of God?

I'd like the answers to be supported by explanations. Thanks.

Claiming the resurrection to be fulfilled - not a credible reason as Paul specifically warns against such.
Memerising seems to be the area of politics these days - it even promises salvation from whatever the media says is the greatest woe.
Actually, if this person claimed to be a descendent of God, then I would welcome him as a brother. Jesus states we are all children of God.

The Christian Bible warns us that the anti-Christ will do just that.

Matthew 24:5
For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.

Matthew 24:24
For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

Not so start a fight or anything, but that was basically what Mohammad was trying to do. He did not claim to be the son of God, but he said he was a "new" prophet who was coming to add on to the words of Jesus Christ.

Paul warned us very plainly of anyone coming along in the future who took credit for the word of God or claimed to be equal to Jesus Christ.

Galatians 1
6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

You'll know when Revelations are starting to be fulfilled beginning with the disappearance of all the believers from off the face of the Earth. Thus marks the BEGINNING of the 7yr Tribulation Period!

We are all children of God. When Jesus returns, there will be no doubt as to who He is. The Antichrist before Him will fool many people though. Watch out for false prophets and false teachings.

May God Bless you.

God is above humans and no one can descend Him. There is no way that anyone in this age or even the age before could be a descendant of God

I wouldn't believe that anyone was anymore a child of God than anyone else, now or ever in the past. I don't believe any of the stories or claims, even the one from 36 A.D.
