I have been with my guy for two years and everything has been really good until about 4 months ago. We never go on dates. He calls every noght still but it's beginning to feel long distance. He says we should do something and then just leaves me hanging and doesn't say anything about it. I just feel like i come very last any more. Although he is planning on moving to a differnt state with me and often talks about marriage. So whats with the hot and cold act. Any insight you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

If all you both do is talk on the phone then your relationship will go nowhere fast. Suggest going out to dinner or even a movie, don't just leave it up to him. Be proactive girlfriend!

Okay I am not an expert but I do see the "signs"! I been through this nonsense before.Check out what I analyzed
4 mos. = probaly found a new girl since it started then
No more dates = go figure new girl
calls everynight but yet feels distance= stringing you along
he says you should do something but doesn't comply= stringing you along, selling you dreams "keeping you stupid" until he makes sure the grass (the other girl) is greener
he doesn't say nothing about it = he knows what he's doing and if you bring it up here's his chance to stage a big argument and demand for space (he won't look too guilty in the long run)
moving to a different state and marriage = actions speak louder than words. "why would you move to another state and think about marriage when he is behaving like this.....he is pulling your leg.
hot and cold act = sounds like cold to me.
Let him play himself. Be smart young lady, the signs are there don't ignore them. You appear to be strong emotionally now and sought of preparing yourself that is why you are on here inquiring. stop answering his calls and let him go on the voice mail. YOU WILL SEE THE REAL HIM. and when you do it's okay to cry you are human. but at least you will be strong and could move on faster than you like. it would be devastaing if you keep dangling on and BAM! He throws some live shittt on you and you are HURT! ANGRY AND PISSED OFF AND you will be back on yahoo answers inquiring about this relationship on a different note. Do yourself a favor and do as I ask. Been there done that...
Think about it...........This is a new year, don't start of being stupid and in denial. Woman to woman "you appear to be smarter than that" and you deserve better. BOTTOM LINE... FUCKKKK HIM!

He's probably feeling underappreciated, or like all the hard work he's put in this last two years isn't paying off. He might feel as though the relationship has lost him a lot. Try to make him feel special, and take initiative. Don't always have him be the one who calls you, confront him on the problem.

True love is about being truthful to one another, you shouldn't be embarassed to ask.. especially if you two are considering marriage. Take him out on a surprise date, and pay. It'll be a welcome surprise.

Thats so crazy!! Im going through the exact same thing..

Me and my BF have been together for 2 years, we hardly go anywhere anymore..It's usually him with his friends and me with mine..He hardly calls, and he says he going to come over but he doesn't and if he does its super late at night..I feel your pain, because I sometimes wonder if he's doing things he shouldn't..He says he's still crazy in love with me but sometimes I just dont feel it..I still love him too, but the best thing for me to get him off my mind is to hang out with a couple of friends

Try talking with him..For me that worked for about a good 2 days, but everyone is different so it might work out for you..

Good luck

Maybe you should be the one to suggest something to do. If he doesn't seem interested, tell him you need a week off. He's getting tired of you and taking you for granted. Don't let him get too sure of you. See some friends for dinner, shopping or a movie. Have fun.

Maybe you need to suggest an activity that you are interested in doing together. Preferably something with a DATE.
"I'd really like to go to the George Strait concert." "Do you want to go to the Renaissance Festival next weekend?" Just show up at his house and hang out with him.

If he is talking marriage and he is hot and cold, that is not a good sign. I don't want to bring bad thoughts to you but maybe he did something wrong and he feels guility. If you love someone, you need to act out your fantasy and create happiness together. Something is wrong, confront him and see how he reacts.

I went through the same thing with a guy I was with and it turned out, he was cheating on me with another woman. Don't jump to conclusions though because it might not be true, but I am just letting you know from my personal experience.
