There are many American Muslim leaders. The press does not show them to maintain a foreign image of Islam, but I would invite you to consider there is much that is not shown to sway your opinion. Check them out for yourself, before you answer.

I'm not a muslim but I know about the history. Islam conquered up into Europe and held Spain from around 700 ad to 1100 ad. During that time the world of Islam was the most spiritual, highly educated and civilized society with tolerance for Christianity and Judaism. The nobility of Europe sent their children to study in the Islamic Universities because Europe was in the dark ages. Christians couldn't observe hygeine, practice science or anything that the popes had outlawed. Much of western science, law and art shows Muslim influence. Muslims are people like you and I. They love their families and do their careers like you and I. Look past Fox news to the truth. You will be glad you did. But do it quick. Not much time left.

Though if we want to show a better image, bringing in non-American great muslim achievments would be nice too... We might want to stray away from the "Algebra" invention though... Might bring about more hate.

Never heard of them, but I have heard of Louis Farrakhan. He called all white people "blue eyed devils". How evil of him!
