i work for government and my team all contribute money to buy coffee, tea, milk, etc. but a private company that i worked for supplied coffee for everyone ... is there a pattern here

All private compnies are not that good to supply coffee for their employees.i work in private compny and do contribute for my coffee:((

Funny thing is that everywhere I worked the companies supplied the coffee. But I don't drink coffee - I drink soda. And none of them supplied soda.

You'd think they would because people were always more productive when they had a caffein and sugar buzz going.

I work for county government, they supply coffee, cream and sugar and of course water but I buy coffee for my shift because I hate the yucky cheap coffee they supply, it must be a trend because the last government job I had supplied cheap coffee too.

The outfit I work for supplies me and my co-workers with free coffee, tea/hot and cold, hot coco, and a steak dinner at the end of the school year plus once a month were treated to a breakfast.and a Christmas dinner.

I work in a small company where we supply our own.

The main reason is so that each person can have their own favourite brand of tea / coffee. this extends to raw sugar v white sugar, low fat v full cream milk etc.

I've worked for major multinational companies, where coffee was provided (Up to a $ limit per employee per month)

Our private company does not supply the coffee, etc...Everyone that drinks it pitches in...We were told that for the '06 year our sales were up $1.5 million...and they can't buy coffee :o(

My company supplies coffee, bottled water, cable TV, and even the internet I'm on now. This is what I do at work.

My work supplies coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. I think that is fair since the pay is so low.
