I was looking at a site and it said:

"Source Ratings: Men and women interested in EOD should choose a rating from this list: AB, AO, EM, EN, GM, HT, IC, IT, MM, MN, OS, PH, PR, QM, SK, or SM. Applicants for EOD cannot be approved if they are part of a Naval Reserve program such as TAR, SAM or two year programs."

Does this mean other than being an EOD, can I be one of those ratings??? Can I have two ratings?

This is OLD info.... it used to be that EOD was a skillset performed by Sailors of different rates... Last year EOD became its own rating.... check out this link for EOD info:

being prior military-mike, you have no idea what you are talking about. EOD is an acronym for Explosives Ordinance Disposal. The name should be self-explanatory. You are reading about 'pre-requisites' you need to have before going to EOD school.

And i do believe that those so called 'ratings' are individual sections that get scored on the ASFAB. Obviously they are abbreviated but I'm not sure what they all mean.

it means that those ratings are compatible with the additional rating of EOD
