When you decide to get a tattoo. Get something that means something to, even if you get a common "girly" tattoo, have some of your style, personality and uniqueness involved in it to make it your own. www.tattoojohnny.com has designs but you have to pay for them. Everyone has been telling me that when i get my tattoo to just talk to my artist about what i want in mind and she can draw something up for me with all the details that i want with it. So maybe try and do that
Hope i was some help
good luck

A good tattoo artist can do about anything you want, you need to start with a small one that you can hide so if you don't like it it's not life altering. Body art is something to think long and hard about because your tastes and style may change as you get older. Also your career may not allow you to show tatoes publicly, like some business offices, ect. then what are you to do?

for tatoos is make sure you have something you want
not something lame
my rule is find a design you like and wait 6 months...if you still want it get it
-this way i know all my designs are something that i truly express myself with
you sound like your in a hurry so maybe a month is good for you or you dont have to wait if your really sure youre going to pick something you want on your body permanantly for the rest of your life in 10 minutes haha
but i would suggest just to search tatoo designs in google pictures and see what comes up alwaysss worksss

getting a tattoo because you want a tattoo is never a good reason. a tattoo should actually mean something to you. that is the whole point. it needs to be representing something from within-- an expression of yourself. having a tattoo that is a copied from a book is not very personal either. wait until you find something that actually means something to you... and not something trendy.
a tattoo should provoke a story when someone asks about it-- and not one that starts out "yeah, i was so wasted..."

If you are set on getting a tattoo I suggest getting something that really means something to you and will have meaning to you for the rest of your life. I have one on my upper back taht is just one word. It's the nickname that my grandmother gave me as a baby, and I got it when she went into the final stages of a fatal illness. My parents are not ones to condone tattoos but even they have to admit that mine is beautiful because it has meaning behind it and I will never regret it because of it's meaning to me. If you get something that you just think is "pretty" in 10 years it might not be so pretty anymore. So make sure you put a lot of thought into it and get something that will be very important to you, even when you are 80. Good Luck.

Tattoodles.com or tattoofinder.com. They're great sites with cool designs; the only downside is that you have to pay if you want a print to give the tattoo artist.

it's best to visit a tattoo parlar and flip through there tattoo booklet. pick a design think about where you would want it and go home. Think about it for about a week. then go back. Online sites make you pay for a stencil that's already in the tattoo place 9 times out of 10.
but heres a site though http://www.tattoofinder.com/

If you absolutely must, then get a nice rose tattoo on your shoulder blade.

ok, I think tattoos are cool and all, I'd even get one myself. I just believe that if you get something permanent to your body it should mean something to you. For instance, my friend got a hawaiian flower because she was born on the island hawaii. And my manager got some weird japanese storm god guy on his arm because he said it symbolizes all of the trials and "storms" he's been through. I just don't think you should get one until you know exactly what you want and it means something significant to you.
