Planet Cancer:

"Welcome to Planet Cancer, a community of young adults with cancer. We're glad you're here. (Well, not really. But you know what we mean.)
Take a look around. Talk with other young adults on the boards or in the fishtank. If you feel strangely at home, join Planet Cancer now! We'll keep you current on young adult issues, opportunities, and what's happening on the Planet"......

Highly recommended.

For an excellent non commercial cancer listserv (support group) I suggest you look into ACOR (Association of Cancer Resources Online). They have about 120 different cancer support groups for many types of cancer and age groups. Cancer support groups work much better when the members have the same general type cancer and are undergoing the same treatments. Cancer is many different diseases so treatment info for lung cancer is not going to be helpful for someone with bladder cancer or leukemia.

These lists are silently moderated to eliminate spammers and to help provide a nurturing discussion environment.
