lol not really. well i guess it depends how u look at it. and on the situation with said girl. for example im trying to gain some weight, so if someone told me i lost weight i wouldnt take it as a compliment. and if i was an overweight girl, and i lost some weight i wouldnt mind if a guy noticed, but then again it would mean that he always took into consideration that i was overweight. i guess it all depends on the girl and how sensitive it is. but instead of giving that compliment, why dont you just stick to "hey you look great!" :)

If a person loses weight and everyone notices it can become embarassing. The main reason is that while they were fat they would have convinced themself they didn't look too bad in order to avoid becoming embarassed in public. When everyone suddenly mentions the big change they realise how people viewed them before. Sometimes it can lead the person to start eating again out of depression. On the other hand, some enjoy the compliment.

I would say NO, definitely not. Some girls would be fine with it, but I think most would take it to mean that you're obsessed with weight...and would draw attention to insecurities. Compliment something she did.

If she is usually an over-weight girl, then yes, it'd be a compliment.
If she is always(!) in good shape, then complimenting her that way is not a good idea.

Yes, it is a compliment but it will be much better received if you simply say "wow, you look great." She'll get the message....... without it focusing on her weight.

Never say that to a girl (even though she had lost weight) - instead say 'wow - you look great! Then it will be up to her weither or not she brings up the subject of losing any weight.

yes, it's a compliment. but don't suddenly confess your love.
if somebody said to me "wow! you've lost weight. do you want to go out to the movies sometime?" i might punch him in the face! be careful when and where and why you say it. don't be shallow.
but if it's just a friend, sure, go for it. you'll be her new favorite person.

Depends, a neurotic may just say that that means that she was fat earlier. A normal girl should take it as a compliment!!!!

If a guy said that to me I would be happy, it means I made progress. All girls are on a constant quest to loose their extra pounds, anyway. But make sure she knows you didn't think she was 'fat' before.
