Ya know, if you want them gone permanently having it trimmed is the only way.
You could also try Split End Mender. http://www.drugstore.com/qxp83549_332828_sespider/tigi/bed_head_ego_boost_split_end_mender_leave_in_conditioner.htm

Try Conditioning treatments, or leave-in conditioners.

Heres a site that has 7 products you can use for split ends. http://beauty.about.com/cs/haircare1/tp/splitends.htm

I dont know how well this works, but you can look at this Split-Ender. http://www.internetshopuk.com/internetshopuk/asp/display_product.asp?image=splitaway1

Try some kind of Pro Pack that you can do at home.

Hope some of this helps.

Unfortunately, even if you find the best conditioners to end your split ends, you are going to have to cut it in the mean time.

Split ends makes the entire hair shaft weaker down to the root, so you have to cut it.

Just make sure you do what you can to prevent split ends in the future. Use high end conditioners, no over processing or over heating your hair and eat plenty of leafy green vegetables to keep your hair thick and strong.

Use a conditioner every time you wash your hair but only put it on the ends; it will help a great deal between cuts.

you have to get them cut off as nothing will fix them, prevent them by using the Aussie miracle shampoo and conditioner and a heat protection spray on your hair. if you leave them the will just split more and more and you will have to have more and more cut off

The absolute best is a product called Silk Drops from FX Special Effects. You can get it at any Walgreens, CVS, etc.

i highly suggest you get a trim.
but after that to keep your hair healthy, use a shampoo and conditoner made by Khiel's...
i forgot what it is called but they use grapeseed oil and other fruit oils to mimic the natural oils of your hair, therefore slowly restoring it to it's natural healthy shine.
It's completely natural and organic, no chemicals added.

nothing is going to work besides a hair cut. everything else will just hide it temporarily if it looks like it works. you can always sit there with scissors & trim them yourself one by one... lol...
