I've forgot how beautiful you are.
I find yr bf sentence is perfect Italian.
No need to change it as suggested by the previous answerer.

"I have forgotten how (much) beautiful you are."
This would be better, I think:
"Mi sono dimenticato quanto bella (tu) sei."
