We invite you to search the Bible, especially the 27 books of the Christian Greek Scriptures, to see for yourself if Jesus and his disciples taught a Trinity. As you search, ask yourself:

1. Can I find any scripture that mentions “Trinity”?

2. Can I find any scripture that says that God is made up of three distinct persons, Father, Son, and holy spirit, but that the three are only one God?

3. Can I find any scripture that says that the Father, Son, and holy spirit are equal in all ways, such as in eternity, power, position, and wisdom?

Search as you may, you will not find one scripture that uses the word Trinity, nor will you find any that says that Father, Son, and holy spirit are equal in all ways, such as in eternity, power, position, and wisdom. Not even a single scripture says that the Son is equal to the Father in those ways—and if there were such a scripture, it would establish not a Trinity but at most a “duality.” Nowhere does the Bible equate the holy spirit with the Father.

Jesus prayed to His God and claimed to be the Son of God, not God himself.

Trinity were invented by sun worshippers.

Glad to know you are a good scholar of the ancient Greek Bible. Yes, you are right. There is no such term as "Trinity" in the Bible, it was coined later after the death of the disciples of Jesus.
But the concept was there since the beginning of the Christian Church. Jesus told the disciples to go and preach unto all the world to every nation and baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
He also said that He and his Father are one. Then He said that after He went back to heaven, He was going to send another
Comforter, Who will teach them everything that He told them, so that they do not stay as "orphans". Some people think the "Holy Spirit" is like a force or "wind". How can an imaterial thing or just a force, can stop a person being "orphaned" when his Father is taken away. When my father died, my uncle adopted me, so I was no longer an orphan. The Holy Spirit is a personality Who can feel the grief and can take the place of Jesus teaching the disciples and everybody else who will listen to Him.

You must have missed reading the words of Jesus : Every sin can be pardoned, sin against the Father , and sin against the Son, can be pardoned, but sin against the Holy Spirit is an unpardonable sin. Why don't you read Genesis Chapter 1 where the Holy Spirit was working together in creating the heaven and earth, and God said: "Let us make man in our image" and not "I am going to make man in my image!"
Nobody will be able to fully comprehend the whole truth about God and the Trinity. The Bible mentions that even the angels are still trying to understand the mystery of God. Throughout eternity we will be studying about that continuously.

Even here on earth, scientists have been studying the earth for thousands of years, but we have scratched only a the surface.
Trying to understand about God, is more impossible than trying to teach a mouse, I mean real mouse, or a monkey, how the computer functions, even if you can spend your whole life time trying to do it.

But there is enough materials in the Bible to tell us what we need to know about God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in their work and co-operation in the Creation and Redemption of human beings. But for those who decide not to believe, not even the whole angels of heaven can convince them!

1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one

Christians explain the Trinity as being one God revealed through the Scriptures as the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. The Trinity is not three Gods but one God by nature and unity. The Bible teaches there is one Church but many members and the husband and wife are one flesh, and we don't have any problems with that. We also see that the Bible teaches that there is one God, but revealed as the Father, (Jude 1:1) Jesus, (John 1:1, John 20:28, 1 John 5:20) and the Holy Spirit. (Acts 5:3-4, 1 Corinthians 12:4-18, Hebrews 10:15-18)

God Bless You

Just because the word "Trinity" is not found does not mean the concept is not found in the Bible.

The Bible clearly states that there is ONE God. Yet Bible also teaches CLEARLY that the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God. So one God, three distinct persons.

There are many passages that refer to the deity of the Son and the Holy Spirit. Peter in admonishing Annanias and Sapphire said that they have lied to the Holy Spirit who is God. Paul said that Jesus was equal with God. No Scriptures equate any of the distinct persons in the Godhead with another. The Father is not the Son nor vice versa. But Scriptures state that Jesus is God. This is very clearly taught in the Bible.

Matt 28:19 Go out into all the world, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

That's Jesus speaking. The word 'Trinity' may not be there, but the concept of each of these being God IS.

The Bible is the best, most complete document of any in antiquity. If it cannot be trusted, then neither can ANY other ancient document. Wishing that it has been changed is mere fantasy. True historians know better.

Your theory is flawed and you have been miss-lead...and what is sad is that you have fallen for the lie.

Matthew 28:16 - 20

Jesus Talks to His Followers

16 The eleven followers went to Galilee to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 On the mountain they saw Jesus and worshiped him, but some of them did not believe it was really Jesus. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All power in heaven and on earth is given to me. 19 So go and make followers of all people in the world. Baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach them to obey everything that I have taught you, and I will be with you always, even until the end of this age."

Reread verse 19. Even though the word Trinity is not in the Biblical text, it is clearly taught by Jesus.

Luke 4:9-12

9 Then the devil led Jesus to Jerusalem and put him on a high place of the Temple. He said to Jesus, "If you are the Son of God, jump down. 10 It is written in the Scriptures:

'He has put his angels in charge of you
to watch over you.'
Ps 91:11

11 It is also written:

'They will catch you in their hands
so that you will not hit your foot on a rock.'"
Ps 91:12

12 Jesus answered, "But it also says in the Scriptures: 'Do not test the Lord your God.'"

Re-read verse 12. Jesus is telling Satan "Do not test the Lord your God." That's clear to me...Jesus is saying, I am God, do not test me.

John 15:26-27

26 "I will send you the Helper from the Father; he is the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father. When he comes, he will tell about me, 27 and you also must tell people about me, because you have been with me from the beginning.

What I fail to understand is why this is so important to those who do not believe in God. It seems the same question, in various forms is posed day after day. Is it that you think you will move a Christian even an inch from where they have taken a stand based on faith?

In all, it does not matter, its not that important to Christian belief. Some Christian belief systems do not even believe in the trinity, so what is your fixation on it? Those who have studied the Bible at length will tell you there are places which may indicate reference to the Trinity. They will also tell you they are well aware of Constatine's Nicene conference. Oh, and yeah, they read The DaVanci Code and saw the movie too, and all the research on the history channel.

Are you asking a question or trying to teach?

Philippians 2: 5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in very nature[a] God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,

There's equality, alright, but the bible tells us not to spend too much time thinking beyond our "scope". And oh yes, Jesus also said "you have been with me so long, and you ask to see the Father?"

No, I do not believe that Jesus taught the trinity. This was rather a corruption of the original message mixed with pagan practices of the time. If one looks at pagan symbols there are a lot of trinity like symbols that melded with some corrupted concepts present a trinity. Just as the idea of a cross used as the hanging. It is historically believed crosses were not used in this time nor this region. And even in the Bible is mentioned or inferred a tree, which makes more historical sense as well it continues the references of the murder of Jesus.

No one denys that the Bible doesn't mention the word "Trinity" but like other things it can be inferred from the Teachings of Jesus...

It's really not that difficult to figure out.
