Who are the faulse prophets today.
Do you agree any one who claims to be a preacher of the Gospel and does so for money or not according to the Lord's way of sending forth preaches as in Mathew 10 must be a faulse preacher?

The cultists. (Counterfeit Christians)
Counterfeit Christianity is probably the best description I can give for a cult. Counterfeit Christianity is an imitation of real Christianity. Bible terms like "Jesus Christ, Resurrection, Salvation, and Atonement" are used by the Cult, but entirely different meanings have been assigned to these terms by the various cult groups.
Like counterfeit money which is sometimes difficult to detect, so it is difficult to detect counterfeit Christianity, since it looks like the real thing. Experts examining counterfeit money often hold it up to a strong light and look for identifying marks. Counterfeit Christianity also has identifying marks which can be seen when held up to an even stronger light, the light of God's word, the bible.
We are at an advantage if we know what to expect from a cult. Cultists are very well trained to appear "Christian", and indeed believe they are the true church, and you need the deliverance! Therfore, be bold and ask the question, "Do you believe the group you represent is the only true church on the face of the earth?"
If they reply that they are, or if they are evasive, making remarks like "Well, every church has a measure of truth but...", you have made an early detection of a Cultist.
Every true Chistian, if asked the same question, regardless of his denomination, would reply that the true church is comprised of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, and HE (not some organization) is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE, (John 14:6). No legitimate denomonation would claim that they alone and their members have salvation exclusively, but the cults (the counterfeits) do.

They are all false prophets. I think that books like Revelation are written in such a way that they can be used for many types of interpretation. Seven candlesticks and seven headed beasts that rise from the sea. Uhhhh ok... That must mean seven leaders? Or, maybe a big sea creature? Who knows but as time unfolds, just like prior generations, we interpret the end is always near. In the year 666 people thought that was the end. In the year 1999 computers were going to crash and doom was unavoidable. Now they are saying the Aztec calender says 2012 is a year for something immanent to happen. All I'm saying is people have been telling us this stuff for thousand of years. So called prophets have been calling for earthquakes, meteors and nuclear wars, and still nothing. I'm not saying something won't happen, but most likely nobody will see it coming.

prophecy is a gift of the Holy Ghost granted to many for individual needs, like family leadership, or to do a good job as a Temple gaurd, BUT for a mortal to be called of GOD to deliver a message(s) to the entire world is wht we are discussing here, ok? This way of communication to the human race by GOD through a single human was, WAS, a common way. These prophets, all spoke of Jesus Christ the comming messiah. They all, pert near all,had another thing in common. Martyrtom. GOD's wrath became full at the wickness of humans. No more prophet's after the 12 apostles were likewise martyred. The world had no prophets or church or priests of GOD throughout the dark ages & beyond. [about 600 AD - 1800AD] GOD reestablished this "prophet-type" mode of communication NOT because those humans were repentant or would not murder the prophet. The wikked ness had grown, but the way of GOD is to send a prophet before He destroyes a planet, and because this is the time for this world to pass, a prophet was needed to do it up right. SO yes..the prophet was set up and named Joshep Smith, but no the LDS wern't so special, so they got a prophet. There will be no Enos City translated [perfect commune or holy order]The bible stays as is, the correction to it are repossesion what was taken over the dark ages. The addional scriptures are also holy but not called bible.

There is an easy way to spot a false prophet. A false prophet is one who draws attention to himself by attracting followers rather than directing people to follow God. A false prophet may say they "give God all the glory" but they have deceptive intentions of self gain.

Anyone who speaks from his own mind and says it's from God is a false prophet. This is usually covered up with lots of biblical quotes and references in amongst his own opinions or interpretations.

For example, "Wickedness will continue to increase in the end times" (a real Bible quote), therefore, it's a waste of time and against the purposes of God to try to improve society, spend money on welfare, etc. (an interpretation which goes against the whole consistent message of Jesus).

The false prophets of the antichrist are those clergy who deny that Christ or Messiah means anointed descendant of David who sits upon the throne. For Jesus to be a Messiah Joseph would have to be his physical father. In order to demonstrate that Jesus fulfills prophecy you must accept that Jesus is the physical son of Joseph who is a direct male line descendant of King David. He isn't a descendant of David through his mother Mary so he has to be a descendant of David through his father. The Kingship was passed father to son, father to son on down the line. I answered a question about the virgin birth not long ago and how a virgin can easily become pregnant without intercourse.
Though Jesus was a Messiah (anointed by God instead of the high priest) and was the one foretold he was not the one who occupied the throne of Israel at that time. It was a well known fact that Jesus was not the Davidic King. He also said that His kingdom was not of this world meaning that he wasn't the Davidic King and would be crucified rather than conquering the oppressors of that day.

You have to search the scriptures to make sure who you are listening to is a false prophets or not. I can't name them, but by knowing the true Scriptures I can tell who they are. Read Timothy, Titus, and 1 Corinthians. It talks about false prophets. Also Jeremiah 23. We are finding out now about false Prophets around our area.

Probably most, but not all, of the ones that you see on TV. No sense being a false prophet unless a lot of people can hear you.

Nope.
1Ti 5:18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.
Prophets of today are teachers of God's Word.
Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Mat 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Mat 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
The good fruit is the Word of God.
The tree of life, Jesus Christ.
