The day before yesterday I slit my wrist. The edges have healed slightly and ive been cleaning it with peroxide and Neosporin..and i've been keeping it covered with a large band-aid so it doesn't get infected..but the edges haven't come together yet...How long should it take before it heals enough to wear it without a bandage? Going to doctor and getting stitches is out of the picture. They will send me back to the looney bin.

first off, you slit your wrists...you need to go back to the looney bin before you hurt someone besides yourself.

your wounds will heal but it will take a good week prob for your body to begin heal itself. I would buy butterfly bandages...(small thin bandages) they work real well for getting flesh to heal. Peroxide is good, but if you do it everyday along with neosporin you keeping the wound soft, It will take longer to heal, but the scars will be much more minimal.

seriously, you need to talk to someone.

1st of all you shouldent have done it but i really recomend a doctor i no that you are keeping it clean and evrything but think about it , it could still get infected and wouldent you rather just get it sorted out than have it get worse
