If it's a new cavity - and you probably are not in a position to judge that - a month won't make much difference. If it's a deep cavity, though - one that stings a bit on cold and sweet - a month might make the difference between just getting a filling and needing a root canal. You decide...

There are things you can buy over the counter that are "temporary fillings" incase yours fell out from the regular dentist. You might want to try that.
As for brushing, yeah, that helps but don't forget to floss. I haven't been a regular flosser and am paying the dear price now.
Have you thought of a second opinion? If you really don't like this person, and I have had this problem several times with dentists, shop around. Some are out for a quick buck but there are a few good ones. If you find a great one, email me quick! ; )
Unless you are in pain, a month won't matter.

A month won't make much difference in the cavity..unless it is really really bad now. It may start to hurt if it doesn't already. You would feel a lot better if you went to the dentist now. do you have to do what your dad says...where's your mom.. or your grandma???! ♥

It would help you to fill it as soon as possible. The longer you wait the worse the cavity will get. You could wait the month if you don't eat any candy or sweet things.
Hopefully I have helped!

A month can be the difference between having a filling or having a root canal. It's best to get it filled as soon as possible cause it will save you not only the pain of the toothache, but the pain of the bill to fix it.

If the cavity is latrge, it may be worse next month...others are minor and can wait. Cavities that go into the root cause toothache and need root canal or extraction...more expensive and painful.

If you dont like the dentist you are presently seeing, find another. There is no law saying you cant do that. But I would get it checked soon for that second opinion to be on the safe side. Then after you compare what the 2 say, go from there. At least that way you will be very well informed.

It will make a huge difference, and all of it negative.
There are emergency dental clinics. Call any dentist's office and they can give you a phone number.

You won't need a dentist to tell you if you wait too long.....the tooth will hurt so much, you'll be looking for the first dentist you see.

Try your local pharmacy. You can get a "kit" for a temporary filling . I am not sure how long it would last, but it may buy you enough time until you can find a new dentist.
