ok..in a couple of years..i was wondering on putting a small rolling stones tongue tattoo on my left shoulder blade..(back)..will that look good? or ugly? what do u think?

It's totally up to you what you get and where. Don't listen to all of the losers on here saying that tats are ugly and nasty. It's your body which means it's your decision. Those people that are against tattoos shouldn't be in this forum to begin with.
If that's what you want when the time comes, go for it!

The Rolling Stones tattoo is over done. Pick something a little more unique. Also make sure the location is going to be a place that you can cover when you chose to. The shoulder isn't bad, but it will show in certain dresses, and tops. I have a lot of skin covered in tattoos, but all are on the chest, and back. I always told myself I'd never get a tattoo that I couldn't cover with a T-shirt. A tattoo doesn't need to have some deep seeded spiritual meaning, but it should be body enhancing, and unique in design.

This should only matter to you. Do you like the Rolling Stones tongue enough so that in a couple of years it will mean a lot to you? You won't be able to see your shoulder blade. Does it matter to you that other people may not like it?
The tattoo's ink should not fade in a couple of years, but over time your skin will loosen and the tattoo will fade. Is this okay to you if this happens 30 years from now?

Shoulder blade tatoos are very sexy, but i would recommend a lower back one instead, those are the best looking ones and the most attractive.

I think its too cliche to tattoo a band on your body. Tattoo something that's unique; something that you helped in creating. Get something else that shows who you are, but not something that someone else will most definitely have.

Ugly for a chick, I think woman with tats should have small ones that are cute or pretty on places like there feet lower back, small one on the upper butt cheek or one where you pull your panties down just a tad and on the lower abdomen there is a flower or heart or whatever is sexy or pretty.

it is way overdone. if i were IN the rolling stones i may do it. but other than that... not so much. but do what you want to do, it's your body.

i think it would look cool.... maybe even on in back of ur neck so when u have ur hair down u can't see it,, like for work and things.... good luck!
