no one can be born into being a Christian. No one can be raised a Christian.... just because one is "familier"with the story of Jesus dont mean that one knows Jesus. and one must Know Jesus to be a Christian... The Bible of The True Christian Faith is not intended for the non-believer. It dose not mater how many times one "reads" or suposadly "studies" The Bible, if one is not a believer there is nothing in The Bible for them... Only those open to the leading of The Holy Spirit will find what God has for them within His Word. a non-believer can "read" and "study" The Bible a hundred different ways and will never know a thing about The Truth of it...... your 99% is a bit way over blown.... besides just because one got "baptized" as a child or infant or even as an adult it don't mean squwat unless they first came to God in The Way He prescribes..If they had they would have been of TheTrue Christian Faith... once one comes to God in The Way He prescribes and receives His free gift of Salvation there is no turning back...While you may have been to a lot of different"churches" or whatever... you clearly have no understanding of who is, or what it means to be, of The True Christian Faith...... "sects" as you call them mean nothing to being a True Christian... when one comes to God in The Way He prescribes and receives Gods free gift of Salvation, one becomes of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head... only those of The Church will enter Heaven...And if The are of The Church it will not matter what "sect" or "denomination" they might be a member of.... There are a lot of people in every "sect" or "denomination" who will not make it into Heaven because they are not of The Church.

i savour that Christianity for a sparkling faith whilst in comparison with paganism or Judaism has grow to be a significant international faith. It has exceeded Judaism! you comprehend how many faiths co-existed with Christianity yet all have perished? Christianity in it of itself is a faith that would not provide up and could proceed to be around for a while. I additionally do savour that many Christians fund many charity courses and how many Christians (not missionaries) pass worldwide with the only objective to help the needy out.

I agree. I'm not atheist, but I'm not Christian either, and when they hear that, they assume that there's something in the Bible I missed, because it's plain as day that Jesus died for me and all that. What I really don't get is why Christians use the Bible to validate themselves to people who don't believe the Bible to be true to begin with.

I was raised in a religious family, yes. I know the stories and the mythology quite well, thank you. And it still doesn't make any kind of logical sense unless the tales are wrung beyond all recognition.

Why do atheists assume that the religions which they claim cause them not to believe in God and they hate, actually represent God and the Bible just because these religions claim to represent them?
They hate God and the bible based on false information and they never think there might be accurate information they haven't heard yet, but many have become so prejudiced, based on these lies of false religion they won't even consider the other possibility. To bad.

From the amount of animosity shown by atheists to Christianity, I don't know why they haven't figured this out either. I guess if they really love their religion, they can't imagine anyone rejecting something so great.

I did go to church, and the more i am preeched to the more proposterous it all sounds. Plus most of us athiests were intoduced to the religion and don't believe because we have facts. How could we not believe in somthing we don't know. Have most Christians heard our side of the story or y we think the way we do? I doubt it!
And more like 90% (and that is like exposed and practiced religion

Although I am a Deist rather than athiest, I was raised in the church - wasted the first 20 years of my life in that hell hole until I finally quit. Took a while to find a replacement I was happy with but now I am ok again.

And your point would be ,that they are still clueless.Just because a person reads the Bible and goes to church, means nothing.
You must have a relationship with God(Jesus). Many people love to stand up and spout words, they have no clue what they mean.
With deaf ears you listen and a dumb mouth you speak.
Only the Holy Ghost can reveal the word of God to a hungry soul.<><

On most days I consider myself Agnostic, but if I get to hanging around here too much, I start thinking Atheism. And yes, I WAS raised Christian, and WAS baptized.
