Bad odour can be due to two reasons. One is that your stomach is not OK. Second is tooth or gum decay or unhygeinic mouth. firt consult a dentist to check your teeth and gum. Second consult a homeopath who will treat your stomach.

It's called halitosis and can be caused by many things. First thing is to go to a dentist to see if you have any periodontal disease that may cause it. Good dental hygiene is a must. Brush your teeth properly making sure you get every tooth and the inside too. Flossing twice a day is essential to preventing gum disease. Don't forget to brush your tongue. It holds many of the bacteria and odors. They sell tongue scrapers in the drug stores. Get a Water Pic and even put some mouthwash in it. Follow that up by mouth wash and Act fluoride treatment. If there is another medical reason , then check with your doctor too. Some people have the odor coming up through their stomachs. Parsley or a mint leave may help too, but you must get to the bottom of the problem. There may be pus pockets in your gums that need to be taken care of. Also sinus drainage and infection can cause bad breath.

Brushing her teeth with Colgate that has baking soda atleast 3times a day and using mouth wash. i mean that is if you have the courage to tell her that. Otherwise buy her some mints and put them between your desk and hers and tell her they are for you and her so dig in whenever she feels like it. and emphasize about how you never know when your breath stinks so it's better to be safe than sorry. This way she wont feel offended and you wont feel bad. and after meals say lunch say "hey that curry had too much garlic a mint is needed or else we'll chase away people with garlic breath!" not exactly those words but you know. i hope it works.

You will be doing a great service to her in advising her to consult a dentist immediately.... only oral examination by a dentist can point out the reason. Pyorrhoea is the most common cause of oral halitosis. It can be easily treated luckily. But it could be without any disease also. In any case, any oral disease has to be ruled out by a dentist alone. If everything is fine, then the dentist would advice her to brush her teeth properly in the morning and in the night--just before retiring. Tongue cleaning is so very much crucial for preventing oral malodor. Frankly speaking, all these things can not be told to your friend by yourself....she might feel offended. Somehow you need to direct her to a dentist. It is a fairly common problem.. Please dont advise her to try any mouthwashes, oral sprays etc...IT WILL CAMOUFLAGE THE REAL PROBLEM AND WILL GIVE A FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY (ORAL-WELLBEING) !!

eventhough it is personal sometimes it bothers others. it is very sensitive inform the collegue about this. better to to be distant.if it is not possible tell her smoothly. if not bring some cloves and cardommom in a small tin and when ever u r chewing offer her one or two cloves and cardommom so that u can reduce ur discomfort. or present her mouthwash. all the best. or tell her the importance of dental hygenie ans ask her to consult a good dentist. all the best.

Buy a bottle of peroxide and tell her that it makes teeth white and tell her that you use it constantly to make YOUR teeth white. Maybe she will try it. Just rinse your mouth out with it but do not gargle or swallow it. Peroxide kills germs and really makes teeth whiter over a period of time and also cleans up the bad breath odour.

That's more common these days. The Lady probably has a bad tooth and the bacteria is what you smell.
Unfortunately she probably doesn't smell it or realize how bad it is.
You could beat around the bush with dental references or strait out say you can't deal with her so close! (I'd be straight out)

You should ask her if she's been eating cat food because her breath smells like it and give her some gum and tell her she really needs to chew it!
