I'm 19yr's old, 5'0, and 145lb's. My goal weight is 110lb's.

I'm not asking how often, but how long every day. 30 minutes+?

If say I did run every day for that ideal amount of time, will it really work to lose weight?

Does anyone have a good meal plan to help with this? What to eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner?

Powerade vs Gaterade? Why?

And I don't gain weight easily...I eat quite a bit of unhealthy foods, and have for a while, and I've been waving around 145lb's for over a year. I never exercise and do practically nothing every day.(I know, sad) Does this mean if I actually do something, it should be easy to lose that weight?

What I am trying to do is get rid of this potbelly. It's horrible. Will running reduce the size of it?

What will happen to all that skin if I do lose the weight?

I just lost 31 lbs.... I'm 22..... I'm 5'1

I still need to lose another 15lbs though...

I Walk Fast 30mins 3 times a week. It will really work.... I also jump rope 10mins a day everyday.

In the morning I eat Protein Bars..... Apple snack..... Lunch Chicken salad...... I drink nothing but water....... Powerade and Gaterade will only put the weight on you...because its nothing but sugar..and sugar turns into fat..... Try Sugar Free foods and watch your carb intake...... plus you don't want to eat anymore than 1400 cals a day.... Start counting if you want to lose the weight. And your skin after you lose the weight ... you'll need to tone up... thats the stage I'm in now....So I'm still working on that
Oh yeah...It took me 5 months....OF HARD WORK.....Also....Take b12 and vitaminc.....It helps
Hope everything works out for ya.

I will try to keep it simple. Your metabolism is basically the rate at which your body burns calories to create energy. So the faster your metabolism, the faster you burn calories and the easier it is to lose unwanted weight. To boost your metabolism naturally you just need to eat the right foods.

You can sit down and literally eat a 1,000-calorie dinner and yet be absolutely starving just a few hours later and the reason is simple: Because your body didnt get what it needed in those 1,000 calories so it sends signals to your brain telling you to ingest more calories and thus, the late-night cravings. That means that the surest way to end those late-night cravings and keep your weight loss goals on track is to eat a more balanced, nutritious diet that actually gives your body what it needs.

It's VERY EASY to lose weight if you eat the right foods. Check out Dr. Charles Livingston's video here: http://www.sexyjese.com - it will blow your mind.

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.

It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.

Stay motivated, and get up and walk every day. I seriously lost all my weight starting off my day on my walk.

Good LUCK!

This is quiet normal. You do change your fat into muscles and the body do change but not that much. Try something I did discovered 8 months ago Green coffee 800 Leptin by Wmumart. There is many more products by Leptin, or other companies. Herbal products can generate thermo genesis, can curb you appetite and same time block the fat from entering your body. It really works for me and many of my friends

an hour is best if you can work up to it.
a balanced diet that is high in protien and green vegetables is best. Avoid sugar at all costs, especially high fructose corn syrup. at your age, running an hour a day, you will have lost it all in about 2 months. your skin will naturally tighten back up. Well, if you don't have stretch marks. If you have stretchmarks, you may end up lumpy.

running can be good -- the normal work out should be 30 min a day...

its really good if u do a 30 min work out of 30 sec. walking/running 30 sec. toning exercises... it worked for me until i got busy and got off track...

remember u might not loose weight.. but loose inches... its inches taht you want to focus on because lean muscle weights more than fat :)
