When I start my microwave it runs at full power for about 5 sec. , then it goes into a low power mode and the lights in the room dim as it runs not at full power. Do I need to put a higher watt circuit breaker in my electric box for the kitchen?

Yes, it sounds like you need a new electrical circuit for the microwave (and probably a few other things). You aren't using an extension cord, are you? If so, there are only a very few that can handle the power that a microwave needs -- so you probably don't have one of those. You need one that is rated for an appliance at 15A continuous -- Lowe's or Home Depot should have one.

The microwave is actually low power for the first few seconds and then when it dims the lights, it's actually trying to run at high power.

sure! you may run a 1200 watt microwave, the 800 watt photograph voltaic is purely how lots voltage is going into the batteries, then the batteries no longer purely keep that electrical energy yet in addition we could it build as much as despite the storage skill is for the batteries you're utilising. you will desire to no longer run the microwave each and every of the time, yet who does?
