Yes, and many, as you can see, have or claim to have an education above H.S. (difficult to tell for sure, all sound the same). Those are the ones who seem to think you have to be so "compassionate for the underdog" that you lose perspective. If illegal aliens get amnest they (the pro-amnesty group) will think back one day and think about how it 'use' to be and wish to H3LL it all had never changed. There will not be enough jobs to go around, their children (and ours) will be the ones to pay for that, through low paying jobs, and severe job insecurity. They won't feel secure enough in their jobs to purchase homes or property. They are the ones who will see dangerously increased crime, deteriorating cities, a failing infrastructure, insufficient schools and public utilities, and worse. It'll be too late by then to change it.
They better think long and hard about what's happening in the USA. This isn't a joke, it isn't something that can be turned around. Once amnesty is approved, it's a done deal. It'll be too late for regrets then. Americans better wake up, pay attention and study about the possible injustices of such an action for our future generations. It would be a final knell of death for the United States of America.
I don't proclaim to have a 'higher' education. I only went to college for two years. I'm a Mom of two and a Grandmother of two. That tells you a little about my age. I have been educated in the school of hard-knocks and graduated with honors. My diploma from 'that' school is the scars I bear. I worked hard all my life, and I'll be D@m^ed if I'm going to sit on my butt and let some lazy, freeloading bunch of illegal aliens take the country my ancestors and all the way up to my childrens generation have worked, fought, shed blood and died for. I might go down, but I won't go down easy, and I'll go down fighting.
If the younger generation is so naive and unclear about this issue they should at least be smart enough to KNOW they might NOT KNOW 'everything' and get more informed or just stay out of it altogether. It's the same with those people who live in areas where the illegal aliens aren't so profuse. They are so far removed they really don't know what they're talking about. They are just big-hearted people who think the illegals are just a handful of poor people who escaped hardtimes in their own country. They don't understand the magnitude of the situation. They should learn more about it or be quiet. I really think this should be something charitable organizations should be handling instead of our government. If somebody wants to 'give' to them by all means GIVE till you see nothing but an empty well. We all shouldn't HAVE to 'give'.
Illegal aliens should not get amnesty. They should and CAN be deported. Send them home and let the bleeding hearts and the overly compassionate send money to them THERE. I shouldn't have to give/send them one red cent unless I 'choose' to do so.

Seems like my fellow anti's have answered this question quite well.
I have found that there is a big difference between having an education and having common sense. Most I know that are "book smart" have very little common sense and cannot look at the big picture. That point is proven when they can't think of any other good reasons for the illegals to be here except the same old tired responses,we were all immigrants at one time,we are racists, they are only trying to help their families, etc.
Mass amnesty will destroy this country.

They are the generation that has been brainwashed with Political Correctness and have no knowledge of what the real Civil Rights movement was about for women and people of color. They have no real patriotism and would rather destroy the nation, munch tofu and tell you everything is relative. They don't see the harm it is doing to erode our way of life. Get rid of Political Correctness out of the schools and you will have beat 1/2 the problem!

It is sad that so many people feel that you are prejudice because of your stand on illegal people being in this country. I am completely against amnesty. And I have proven reasons why.
Yes they are poor, but what about the poor americans that are already here. What about the whopping $28m+ that has already been spent towards illegals in Medicaid money. What about the education system. I have witnessed teachers so busy trying to communicate with parents/children that can't speak 10 words of the english language, while the american children continue to miss out. Who do you think pays for the interpreters in the schools? Medical bills, insurance scams and etc. Your tax dollars.
Yes illegals pay taxes (only a handful), but it is OPTIONAL. They are not required to pay. There is a telephone number that they can call and get a number if they choose. How many people do you know are running to pay taxes? More than $20B dollars was sent out of this country last year back to families of these illegal workers. How is the economy benefiting from the money going outside of the US?
Last but definitely not least, now there is a bill before the great George Bush to give illegal workers social security benefits. Yes this also includes those who have stolen SSN since they have paid in using that number. A US citizen has to wait 10 years to get benefits, but an illegal will only have to wait 18 months??? As long as they have worked 8 years in Mexico. What is wrong with our government? Our social security system is already "crippled" and now they want to give funds to ILLEGAL workers. And we have 65+ elderly people who are fighting to get money that is due them, but they are willing to give it over to people who broke the law to come here and continue to break the law everyday that they are here.
People wake up. We are headed towards becoming a 3rd world nation. Get informed. Stop listening to politicians and find out for yourself what is happening to this country we call home.

Just because a couple of pro-amnesty people answered that said they had an education, you can see they have listened to their liberal professors real good. Most are uneducated about the impact it will have on America.

And around a million it grew to become into. So the bill did no longer get as would votes as available to stay alive. yet you already know this has purely open the doorways to opportunities. i does not be stunned if we've been given a mini 245 (i) returned. just to deliver peace in this turmoil we are in or perhaps the Dream Act. enable save our eyes open.

Well, the catch 22 of the whole situation is that some of the people that are illegal are illegal because they didn't go through the process, why didn't they, well immigration is so backlogged it takes years, close to a decade to LEGALLY become a citizen. So I'm not in favor of just amnesty because won't we still face the problem of trying to document and LEGALIZE all of the illegals? If we can't do it in a timely manner now with border crossings then how will amnesty work? I'm not flaming I'm actually curious, how will it work if we can't get to them now in a timely manner?

Most have never held a job or did an honest's days work. Most lack an education continue to think that it's fine to take advantage of the country's programs. The kids in the future will never have a life based on how the pro legal are dividing this nation with their come and get it's free- you can't do without- you can hardly wait you get up attitude.

No. They are illegal aliens that know American people are getting fed up with them and want amnesty before they get deported. Americans know that paying 20 Billion dollars to start deporting the illegal aliens is cheaper than paying 26.5 billion EVERY year to keep them here.
