Why is it that everytime i start to have feelings for a man, i pick him apart until i dont like him anymore? I need help!!

You are probably afraid of getting hurt hurt. Its a kind of wall that you build. You reject him before he rejects you. (its not that he was going to reject you to begin with, its all in your mind). I played this game for a long time until I plucked up the courage to open myself up and love again.
You must realize that you are complete human being and that no other man or woman makes you complete. You must also realize the loosing just as much as winning is a part of life and is inevitable at one point or the other.
Remember that you have flaws and so does he. Imagine what happens when two imperfect people meet. Also remember that You need to live in the present and plan for the future and not live in your past and give up your future.
If you don't venture out, you will never know. Open up again and take a chance. Just remember that you CAN get up each time you fall, at least you'd get half way to where you want to go unlike if you never tried at all. Good luck.
