So God deliberately set out to create a weak, sinful creature in His own image that could only be saved by killing his Son, Jesus? Wow! God is a sadist. He must love pain.

Hate to tell you, yet once you're examining the bible in any respect. you would understand the certainty, it extremely is that if ... you seek with all your coronary heart, ideas and soul... the Spirit is prepared, however the flesh is susceptible. yet there is desire in this, because of the fact, God can get rid of the scales from our eyes. And this I do have faith as quickly as we willingly reason all of this out with God! advantages, to you which you will submit... willingly.. lovinlgy She Dances With Love Kar~n`excitement~c you have many appropriate solutions right here... be blessed! :)) Nor do I condemn you, you have the suited to have faith as you will....Peace... no longer something absolutely everyone will say, can convince you ... this could come from you ... desire you do come across for your self the various truths...

There is no one else He could idolize but Himself. He is the supreme judge so, whom are you thinking should judge Him? If He wants us to praise Him and we do it to follow Him where is the guilt then?
It is like this. You go to your own room alone and arrange all your dolls facing the mirror. You stand behind them facing the mirror too. You shout, "I am beautiful!". Would the any of the dolls refuse?
For God, we are just like His dolls. He has every right to be proud of and firmly believing that everything I have comes from Him, therefore the only thing I can be proud of is my mistake we call sin.

You're way off. God only wants worship because it is important to us that we recognize Him as our only hope for salvation. And WE are the tools He has chosen to pass His offer on to the world. The more praise He gets, the more people get to live happily ever after.

And creating sentient beings purely for your own worship is not respecting the rights of those sentient beings. Wouldn't you agree???
Thus, the God of the Bible is evil.

May God turn your heart, but if He can't turn your heart, let Him turn your ankle, so I can know ya by your limpen, and have compassion for you.

Acctually you described the sin of satan (Is.14:12...) God is just the opposite. God needs you. You are the apple of God's eye.

God is entitled to and worthy of all praise, worship, & reverence by virtue of Who He is and what He has done and will do.

Mankind was created to worship Our Lord God. And it is my greatest joy & delight to do so and be accepted in his Presence.

God is reality. God is the uncaused first cause. All that exists exists for Him and by Him. God is not subject to the laws of this physical or quantum universe and neither is He subject to the law of sin and death. In Him there is no darkness and no sin, no evil and no variance. He is Love and Light and those in eternal abundance. You cannot apply the restrictions and conditions of the creation to the Creator.

We are told not to covet, but then He says "I am a jealous God." In much of the Bible, God is very much "Do as I say, not as I do."
