I know this is somewhat of a broad question, but I'm really looking for any careers that people have pursued that involve teaching, counseling, and helping kids. Job descriptions, how to get into such professions, any details you can include would be appriciated!

nursing- minimum 2 years after high school at a community college or 4 years at a university, nurses can do many things, including social work for kids

social worker- master's degree, which takes six years after high school

teacher- four years after high school
