Who thinks Mexico would want California 'back' if it looked like Mexico? Ever drive from Laredo to Moterrey?

My opinion is: No.

Some believe the U.S. stole California from Mexico. So let's get all the industries and money out, and the LEGAL immigrants (the dozens I know will do ANYTHING BUT live under the Mexican government).

The Logic: Illegals come to US for $. US has $ because it is functional. It's functional because of LAW (constitution), higher education, and all that results from those things (inventions, patents, etc.)

Illegals get a better life by denouncing any allegiance to LAW.
No law =no functionality=No $. When there's no money, no illegals.

Those denouncing LAW for short term gain will first destroy the culture and society of Law. As a result they will witness the collapse of the economy that LAW built.

I CAME TO THIS COUNTRY LEGALLY TO STUDY AND EARNED MASTER'S DEGREES AND A POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA. WHAT REALLY BOTHERS ME ABOUT THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, BESIDES THAT THEY REFUSE TO LEARN AND SPEAK ENGLISH, IS THAT I SEE HOW NEIGHBORHOODS, QUALITY OF LIFE, STANDARDS OF WORK AND SERVICE IN MANY TRADES/BUSINESSES, AND MOST OF ALL, THE BASE OF LAW AND ORDER , HAVE STEADILY DETERIORATED OVER THE YEARS BECAUSE OF THE MASSIVE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

FINALLY, SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS THE CORE OF THE ISSUE.

I agree! Say the USA tore up all roads, demolished all buildings, and took their government and money with them... they would do nothing but add to their failure of a country. Adding California to their territory will do nothing for their situation. It will not improve Mexico, and their citizens will still be jumping the border into America.

That would kinda like throwing the baby out with the bath water. Cleaning up a mess after infestation is costly but it was ours and not taken over by violence, just a slow oozing of a bad infection. Get the right remedy and we can heal fine.

No they wouldn't want it "back", but what Mexican do you know who would turn it down? It was never theirs to begin with but if it were offered to them the way Christopher Columbus found it, they would take it because a Mexican will accept anything for free even if it's a dirty rock, but they will not be happy about it.

they would know no better they are so use to the slums they would most likely want it just to show us they got it. are govt will never let that happen, they are letting the mexicans live there. if it came to the mexican govt sending in their sorry military, then we will go to war, unless the illegals started attacking us americans then that's a different story. the american civilians have no rules, we are not in the military.
