I am already suffering detox symptoms when I go down 3mg in 4 days and I don't want to wait another 90 to get clean. My 10 year relationship is on the line, my sweetie does not know me because the drugs have altered me so much he does not know who I am and can't see me or talk to me until I am clean, it's too painful, I say mean things without realizing what I am doing. I am under the care of a taper doctor, but don't want to wait the 90+ days and am willing to suffer to get this done. The doctor is saying it might take 6 months (no way) Any help or advise is appreciated. Thanks, Sandy

detoxing from morphine is equal to detoxing from more serious opiates such as heroine. If you are adamant then I suggest a rehab center. But if your boyfriend is not willing to deal with your plight and be supportive maybe you should consider taking a break from him so that you have time to focus on your health needs.

Your health is very important, and if your pain is bad and you needed to stay on morphine, don't stop. And you need the advised from a doctor. I'm on morphine right now, and I've been monitor by the doctor. And your boyfriend need to be supportive on that and understanding.
