Recently found out I have an *** ult on my record, I have never assaulted anyone??
I went to the court house to get it resolved. Found out the date of the assult, and although I can not get anymore details until I am in court, I have a sneaking suspicion due to the date that it was a crazy landlord I had a few years ago. I had to call the police on her several times for coming into my residence without my permission, I beleive she did this as a retalitaion...among other things like calling animal control and saying that I abused my dog!! I love my dog and when animal control came they say know abuse only how much I love my dog. The court house said there was no arest with the assult, how can I have this on my record and not of talked to any law inforcment regarding it? What can I do? I can not afford an attorney

This is a common fix and you can do it. Go to the court house, to the court from which the case was handled and ask the clerk of that court if the charge can be expunged. If there is no case number it is a simple few keys punched on their computer. If there was a conviction, you could consult with an attorney, but it's not really necessary. There may be a fee involved if there was a conviction. It all can go away if you take the time to visit the court. Find out what day is the least busy for them and they will see you are a rare, nice person as compared to their usual clientele.

If you have something on your Record...You would know it. 1 because you would have been summoned to court by the Police. or 2 Arrested and also investigated and interviewed by Police . So You are not telling us the truth.
Why...You have every right to get the details. If you were convicted that is the only way you could have a record, You would be able to get any info on the case.

I would look into getting that removed. If you didn't do it, somebody might have stolen your identity or entered information in incorrectly somewhere.
