I stand amidst the roar
of a surf-tormented shore
and hold within my hand
grains of the golden sand
how few! yet how they creep
from my fingers to the deep
while i weep, while i weep
oh, God! Can i not grasp
them with a tighter clasp?
oh, God! can i not save
one from the pitiless wave?
is all that we see or seem
but a dream within a dream?

There's a quote that I really like....
"He felt his life was some kind of dream....He wondered who's it was and whether or not they were enjoying it".
Obviously, you're not the only one.
Somtimes I feel like it's a dream. I think that's completely normal. Especially when things happen and I wake up the next day and think, "My God, did that really happen yesterday or did I dream that?!?!".

A sense of unreality can be symptomatic of a number of medical and psychological conditions. My advice is to see a doctor.
