it definitely can get better. anxiety disorders are difficult to live with, and i'm sorry that you've been struggling with this for so long

but yes, it is definitely possible to overcome this problem. the good news is that treatments for anxiety disorders are more effective than most other treatments for the mental hurdles people experience. it doesn't mean that getting better is easy, but treatment is more successful for anxiety than for other conditions

Yes a person can get over anxiety disorder. A lot of people don't think that they can, and so it keeps them having anxiety attacks. Now anyone can have anxiety attacts without having a anxiety disorder. You can actually learn to float through and pass the anxiety attacks you are having . I use to have to pull over on the side of the road cause i would have them , and have to wait til they got over, and hope that they did not go into panic attacks. Then i read a book, by a doctor on how to float through them, at first i was not sure if it was going to work, but it was worth a try. And surely enough it did work. Took time, but as I got better handing the anxiety attacks, the better i could float right through them. So yes you can get over having a anxiety disorder, but it is going to take a lot of work.

Many times its all about answering questions. For instance, lets say you were having anxiety over whether or not you had contracted HIV, you can sit there and worry about it, or go get tested and find out. I know that was an easy one, some things will require a more complicated approach. Fear of crowds, get into one, fear of flying, take a flight, etc. etc. Enlist the help of a trusted friend, work out some plans to address one thing at a time. There are no easy answers, except maybe drugs like prozac or paxil, but, if you can do it without drugs you'll be better off.
good luck,

Yes you can overcome anxiety disorder. But it will not happen on it's own. You will have to pursue your cure. Do a search on the Internet, choose a path that feels right for you. Don't give up on yourself. Anxiety is not something you have to live with. I had it, I beat it with self help books, maybe you can too. If not, get professional help. My best wishes for your success.

You should small by trying to see a therapist, and realize a decent amount of people are like you too. Also try to realize that anyone judging you so quickly, is likely not someone you want to know anyways. Also you only have one life, why care about what people think of you? In 200 years it will be like you never existed. Also practice small talk. Just say hi. Go out in public, maybe to a restaurant, and start up a conversation, albeit small, with the waiter/waitress.Maybe also try going to a park, simply say hi and smile to all the people you see pass by. Make sure you smile too, it's contagious. Medication might help as well, but I'd try to avoid that route. I live in a big city too, and the people here are probably the coldest in the world, but if you show them love, you will most likely get it back.

I think so. Recently I've been having panic attacks myself. And I haven't going to work, because the last time I went to work I had a bad one. But before I left my home to go to work I was extremely nervous and naseaus. But after about an hour or two and work I started to feel better. Just try to calm down and tell yourself that it's only a panic attack. You'll survived, you're not going to die. I also use Bach's Rescue Remedy which is supposed to be a natural stress relief. You should consider it, it's worth a try. It's safe and natural. U can get it online or at World Foods Market and other different stores that have alternative medicines.

Yes it will get better. You can go on-line and search for anxiety tips. Breathing exercises are of great help. Also, you should have your Thyroid checked. Hypothyroidism can also bring on anxiety attacks due to your adrenal glands not working properly.
