I have sensitive skin and I use Neutrogen Advanced Solutions (it is a treatment for your face, it includes the cleanser, day moisturizer, and night lotion). I have tried everything and the only thing that had work for me so far was this product. It only coast $30.00 you can buy it at any drug store like Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreen's etc.. So far everyone is telling you about one product not an acne treatment. However, proactive does not work (for me and I have very sensitive skin) for everyone and I have tried dermatologist. The only thing they would do is give you a lot of samples to see if they work or not. You can not find!! a product that would eliminate acne (theirs no way because your body always go thought changes). I hope that I was helpful!!
Good Luck!!!

It may be your dryness that is contributing to your acne. My guess is that most of the time the acne occurs in the areas that tend to be dry. With adult acne I have seen MANY people where this is the case. It's the dryness, and the compromise to the skin's protective mantle, that allows the acne to occur. Simply put, the skin can't protect itself in those areas. Unfortunately, sensitive skin coupled with acne and combination oil is often very difficult to treat, as I know you have experienced. I have combination skin with Rosacea and have had many of the same battles!! My solution was a bit extreme...I created my own skincare. But I am not trying to sell skincare but answer your question, so here is my recommendation. Keep all of your products within the same product line, generally products are created to be used together and with your skin you have a very fine line of skin balance so make sure everything is working for you. Use a cleanser that has a light cream base everyday, an alcohol free pH balancing toner, and a light moisturizer with no mineral oil, parabens, petroleum byproducts or alcohols. To counter the T zone use a gentle exfoliator on just the T zone once or twice week. You can also use this same gentle exfoliator on your entire face once every couple of weeks. Good luck, and if I can answer anything more specific let me know.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.
The secret is never to touch the spots
Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

I have acne and I used proactiv and it worked well. You have to use it exactly like it says though to get good results--2-3 times a day. My friend uses a skin care line from BeautiControl that he says works well, too.

I have bad acne too. I think it is from touching my face, my hands are really oily and clammy all the time. I don't use anything on my face though, it seems like everytime I try something on my face, It gets even worse, then I stop and It gets better.
See if your insurance covers a dermatologist or whatever those skin doctors are called. If it does, go to one of them and you shouldn't have to pay more then 50 dollars after the insurance kicks in.
Good luck. :)
