The right diet and the right weight lifting training will do it, if in doubt, ask a big guy at the gym how he does his diet and reps etc

Sounds to me if you're 5'10" and only 140, you either have never lifted a weight in your life, or you have a kick-*** metabolism. I would begin by adding healthy foods to your diet and LOTS of them. Eat protein, but keep to lean meats like turkey, chicken breast, fish, and egg whites. There are also great protein powders out there for when you can't make a meal. Get with a personal trainer if you can for how to start lifting weights and don't forget the cardio. Fat lies on top of muscle, so to see that six-pack, you gotta sweat. Hope that helps!

Overtime yes a skinny guy can put on muscle but you have too eat right and excerise right your best bet if you really want too puit on more muscle is go down too your local gym and get a qualified intructor too advice you on the best things too eat..dont be temepted too take steroids cause all they do is nacker your body up whatever anyone else says too you beleive in that fact...
It will take alot of hard work (and years of it) too build your muscle tone up so I hope ur in this thing for the long hall and even once youve got the muscle you want you willl still have too workout everyday for the rest of your life too keep that muscle in trim..
If your only young however you have plenty of time too get some muscle on your body so I wouldnt worry too much just excercise properly ride ur bike(which is good for your leg muscles)do plenty of situps and push ups and you should be. fine.

Lift weights and increase your protein intake. Lifting weights breaks down the muscle tissues and the protein rebuilds them bigger and stronger. Try to stick with low repetitions, as this will build muscular strength rather than endurance (try 3 or 4 sets of 6 repetitions).

Yes, all you would need to do is start drinking those weight gain protein drinks that you can buy at any health food store and start working out. but make sure you do muscle building training like weight lifting, not too much cardio like running and cycling cos those make you lose weight. Lifting weights, push ups, sit ups ect. and drink weight gain drinks and eat lots of protein in your diet. x

Do your exercises regularly and with certain program. You can download it from many fitness sites. My favourite one is www.bodybuilding.com.
I'm also 5'10" and only weighted 130 pounds. Now after 6 months of regular fitness, I weight 154. And still hoping to gain more.
I don't recommend to consume the whey protein because once you stopped consuming them, you will loose weight just as easy. In other words, once you consume them, you have to consume them forever.
The important things are 'program' and 'regular'.

You cant convert fat into muscle... You have to consume like a pig and carry heavy... Consuming like a pig and now not figuring out is solely gonna make you a fatty so lifting asap. 10 lb will not be gonna get you anyplace though :/
