Maddie is apparantly played out. try something original like

Mad or Madly
I'm sure you're MAD about her and you're most likely MADLY in love with her or will be at least. or just M pronounced "Emm"

If you don't like Maddy (which I don't either--totally dumb and over-used) then there really isn't any other. You'd be giving her a nickname that really doesn't sound like it comes from her name. So I suggest just sticking with Madison, and then when she's little you'll think of a unique nickname not based on her name, but on something funny she does or the way she looks. My daughter has several cute nicknames that are not from her name. (by the way, don't use names like "addie" which is actually short for Adeline or Addison, that confuses people).

Maddie is a popular nickname for a girl named Madison. You could call her Mimi.

Do you have to have a nickname?
I named my daughter Lily-Not Lillian or any other version. Because I liked Lily as a name NOT a nickname. If you like Madison then call her Madison, otherwise a nickname that fits her is fine even if it is not a shortened version of Madison. My youngest is Alexandria and although we call her Alex, my mom calls her Rosie (cause she says she looked like a little rose when she was born) whatever, she answers to both.
