Guys like to keep things from their girl and the same with husbands. Its not necessary to tell the female in your life, everything! The women like to be lied to it keeps them on the road to happiness. Many females lie to their man, anyway! The female says she loves her man, but yet, she's seen other guys before they got together! She expects her man to be Santa and give her gifts .

I dont know where you got your information, but it wasnt from couples who have a successful relationship. First off, if the man or woman is doing things that he/she has to lie about, then there is a destructive element in the marriage right there. One of the main ingredients for a lasting relationship is to be able to trust the other person. It is very hard, to love someone and give yourself to someone who you cant trust. Run your comments by a couple who have been married for 40 or 50 years and see if they agree that lying to each other is a good ingredient for a long lasting and "thriving " marriage. Lying is one thing but omitting the truth is another. I don't want my man to tell me every little thing. Like when he finds another woman attractive or something. It's natural but I would rather go on thinking I'm the most beautiful person in his mind. Not all women expect their man to buy them gifts all the time, only the materialistic ones do. Don't form an opinion on the whole sex because of one that you've experienced, please.

white lies are fine, but for the larger lies... not good, because if i found out the truth after being lied to ( which we women tend to do )... then you have alot of explaining to do. or if it a huge lie...... history

That hasn't been my experience. Have had a long term relationship with an honest guy, and I've been honest with him. too.
Relationships dont work well if they're not based on mutual trust.
