What if the Bible was written by a group, only to put fear and control into others to keep everyone in line? Kind of like UFO's and all that jazz the government denies, imagine that if the government only stuck to this story that they may know the truth to, only because they fear the riot that would take place if there was proof God didn't exist.
I believe in God, but what if?

I'm pretty sure you got it right there. The bible was in fact written by a group of men. Not "God" or "Jesus" but by men. They therefore excluded what they didn't like, and included only the stuff they wanted people to belive. So yeah, you've pretty much hit the nail on the head.

You asked, "What if the Bible was written by a group, only to put fear and control into others to keep everyone in line?"

I am of the opinion that this is exactly what happened.

What if it was written by different people at different times and changed over the years? What if none of the books were ever meant to be read with one another? What if it had personal correspondences within it that were meant only for a single community? What if a lot of what was written in it was borrowed or plagiarized from earlier texts from different civilizations....

What if?

Well... all of that is true.

There are many books and many were left out of our Bible today. It was so hard years ago for the church with so many manuscripts that a man was commissioned to put 50 books to gether for the 50 churches. Then later on the Book of Thomas and Barnabas or maybe it was Bartholomew,I don`t remember was left out.The Bible was again commissioned and it`s called the King James version that we have today.

Actually Bible was made up under the command of several group of Christians clerics without the permission of Jesus Christ (Isa al Masih). Moreover, the God didn't ask Jesus or his followers to do that. The critical aspect here is the establishment of the New Testaments as to replacement of the Old Testaments.

“The 66 books of the Bible were written on three continents? In three languages. By about 40 different people (kings, shepherds, fishermen, priests, and a physician). Over a period of about 1500 years. On the most controversial subjects. By people who in most cases had never met. By authors whose education and background varied greatly. Yet all 66 books maintain harmony with each other…as if written by one great mind. And indeed it was.” 2 Peter 1 verse 21 “Holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy spirit” Critics of the Bible have tried to say that certain “historical statements” in the Bible are not accurate but archaeologists have uncovered many discoveries that have proven the history of the Bible as accurate. The principles and the prophecies of the old testament as well as its history holds for us today as much relevance as it did for the Israelites in Jesus day and it blends perfectly with the new testament.
2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness."

What if the question you are posing was written by a child of Satan who only wanted to drive people away from seeking the God of the Bible? I'm not saying it was, but "what if?"

Their is an original Bible (New Testament and the original teachings of Christ.) Before King Constantine and a click of scribes changed everything. Go to gospelofthenazirenes. for the original New Testament. if yo are a sincere seeker of truth.
